UNIVERSITY AVE WATERMAIN PHASE 1 & 2 - WATERLOO, ONTARIO Full structural rehabilitation of 700 m of 12" ductile iron watermain. Reconnection of services using electrofusion tapping tees. Ungrouted. Included section of directional drilling under culvert. Phase 1 1998, Phase 2 1999.

CHARLO PIPELINE - DALHOUSIE, NEW BRUNSWICK Rehabilitation of 3,000 ft of 32" wood stave pipeline by 3 HDPE sliplines including one 1,300 ft pull through curve section of wood stave pipe. Design of installation method and installation supervision. Pipeline out of service for less than 60 hours.

Included Life Cycle Cost Analysis and risk analysis. Recommended not to use any linings due to pressures, temperatures and safety issues on deteriorated steel pipes. For Petro-Canada.

HDPE FOLD/FORM LINER INSTALLATION. TORONTO Comprehensive inspection and evaluation of major HDPE fold & form sewer liner installation, 12" ­ 18". Developed criteria for structural evaluation, fit, shape etc. Recommendations for remedial work were carried out including some removal and replacement of liners.

PVC SPIRAL WOUND LINER INSTALLATION. TORONTO Comprehensive inspection and evaluation of major PVC spiral wound sewer liner installation. Developed criteria for structural evaluation, fit, shape etc. Recommendations for remedial work.

PVC FOLD/FORM LINER INSTALLATION Evaluated installed "PVC" type fold and form liner installation. Advised on removal procedures. For installation contractor.

SPECIAL BYPASS SYSTEMS (Back to Top)

FULLY AUTOMATIC VACUUM BYPASS SYSTEM FOR BUILDING SERVICES DURING LINING. TORONTO Design, training and supervision for movable automatic vacuum system for maintaining continuous sewer service to 100s of nightclubs, bars, restaurants, offices and retail stores. Used during CIPP lining operations. Automatic Vacuum Actuator Valves (no electrical connections) temporarily located inside buildings maintained 100% sewer service during all phases of 18" CIPP.
